Follow along as I share my trip to Mykonos, Greece. I booked this trip with my close friend and two random girls. It was amazing!
Mykonos is known for it's beaches, night life, and architecture. The island looks like nothing other than beautiful blue water, white buildings with blue accents, cobblestone, and windmills.
Beach Club Experiences
As it is very hot in Mykonos, during the day we spent most of our time at the beach clubs. These were on the other side of the island, so we rode our ATVs we rented to the beach. About every tourist rents ATVs to use for transportation, man are they fun! Each beach club had amazing views and a lively party even during broad day light.
Scorpios, I would consider the most popular beach club. The beach club is packed and reservations can be difficult to make. This is a very stylish beach club with focus on music and culture. During the day is great, but Scorpios is most popular Sunday nights for their Sunset Rituals Party weeklty. We did this on our first night and it was a great start to our trip.
Tropicana beach club was effortlessly fun. The music and vibes were great. Considering this is one of the more affordable beach clubs, it was a great time! Right next door, a newer beach club, Noia, invited our group to relax at their beach club for free. This was to bring attention to their new business. I recommend stopping by and supporting them!
Greek Food
Greek and mediterranean dishes are popular in Mykonos. I wish I could share all the amazing looking restaurants I saw while there, but I did not eat at them. We ate at the same restaurant every single day. Jimmy's Gyros is right in the heart of old town and has the best gyros on the island. You'll see the same friendly faces in there everyday and they'll remember you. They were so quick and cheap, still to this day we don't regret eating there everyday. There are a lot of sweet treat places in old town as well, specifically ice cream and crepes. We got crepes almost everyday, Nutella and banana. You must try the ice cream from Bon Bon Fait Maison, it's out of this world.

Activities in Mykonos
Mykonos has all kinds of fun things to do and places to explore. My favorite would be exploring the iconic windmills, known as "Kato Myli." It dates back to the 16th century and there are 6 of them. They are beautiful to look at, located right outside of Little Venice.
Little Venice is also a popular area as the views are amazing and shopping and food is all around. We noticed some seafood spots right on the water and we most definitely took advantage of the shopping.
Like mentioned, Mykonos is known for their nightlife. A club right on the Aegean Sea called Cavo Paradiso is famous all over the world. Cavo hosts famous DJs and artists to play and has a known reputation for lively atomosphere. We saw both Steve Aoki and Diplo, two famous DJs, it was an insane experience. We actually ended up hanging out with Diplo himself the next night.

When visiting Mykonos, be prepared to see the Greece cats walking around everywhere. They are very friendly and so cute. We would always stop to hang out with them and feed them when we could. It was hard to not bring one home. How cool would it have been to say I got this cat from Greece.

On this trip, I went to France, Italy, and Greece. Greece was by far my favorite. Our Airbnb was absolutely perfect right in the heart of town and affordable too. We did fun things but once we got to Greece it started to feel like a true vacation where we could relax and enjoy our time. I still miss the Gyros every single day.
