This past summer I booked a trip to Europe with my close friend, and two random girls we found on a traveling group. I had never been out of the country before so I was super excited for this trip!

Boat Ride of My Dreams

We booked a boat ride on the Amalfi coast of Italy that truly felt like a dream. If you visit Positano or Capri this is an absolute must. My friends and I were staying in Positano, so we took the ferry over to the island of Capri. We arrived early so we could eat and explore the town. It was a charming small town right on the water. We ate lunch at a pizza spot overlooking the beautiful boats on the water. Capri had amazing shops especially for gifts. The boat ride started at 1pm, we were beyond excited. Before the boat ride even started, we knew it would be the highlight of the trip. The skipper was amazing and very welcoming. We made our way along the coast and the view was incredible the entire time. The blue water left us speechless! As we passed certain areas the skipper would stop and inform us about them. He would pull the boat into these caves and we were completely inside of the cave. One of them was the shape of a heart! We went to this area called the Blue Grotto where the sun perfectly illuminates the water, it was magical. We anchored the boat and we literally all dove in like we were mermaids. It was life changing swimming in such beautiful water. I would do anything to do it again. We got back on the boat and went to the famous Faraglioni Rocks which are pictured. Our boat went directly under and if you kiss someone while going under you will have good luck! The boat ride was so amazing, I highly recommend booking with Capri Summer Tours!

Internet Famous Cooking Class

After seeing many TikTok about the La Tagliata cooking class in Positano, I knew we had to book it. It looked like so much fun, then we realized fun was an understatement. This cooking class left my cheeks sore from smiling and laughing the whole time! The cooking class is held on a beautiful family owned farm right next to their restaurant. Oh and the views were amazing. There were 20 people total in the class. First, they take you through the garden and farm. We met many farm animals and picked our own vegetables to cook with! Then, we had fresh homemade breakfast waiting on us. After breakfast, we had to start our dessert since it took hours to chill. It was homemade tiramisu, one coffee flavored and one limoncello flavored. Then, the wine started. They warned us to take a photo of the recipes, since we will forget what we did after all the wine. The vibes were amazing, they had music blasting at all times and had a smoke machine. This cooking class felt more like a club by the end of it. All of us strangers quickly became friends! We made bruschetta for our appetizer, the fresh tomatoes from the garden were so tasty. The grandmother of the family just made us fresh tomato sauce for our homemade gnocchi and eggplant that we cooked as the main meal. We chopped all the veggies ourselves while downing wine. The second the staff saw your wine glass empty, they immediately filled it back up. The upbeat music had us all dancing! We eventually all sat down and ate on the terrace. It was a great experience cooking and eating it together. My friends and I had the best time at La Tagliata, its no surprise they are sold out for the whole season! Their restaurant is recommenced all over the internet as one of the best restaurants in Positano.

Airbnb on an Italian Farm

Are you looking to visit Positano but have your own private getaway? The town of Positano can be very crowded and it can be hard to get away. We stayed at this wonderful airbnb on an Italian farm, ran by a small Italian family. The family is very welcoming and cater to their guests. Hungry for dinner? The grandmother will make you a homemade Italian dish, made with love. We were always sitting out on our private patio overlooking the amazing views. We always had company at this airbnb, there are 12 cats on the farm and even a pet fox! This airbnb feels like home and is nothing but cozy. It was truly a great stay.
